May, 2007 - Benchmark Insurance Company of Kansas City, released a whitepaper documenting an internal study on the effectiveness of their e-learning initiative. For businesses that question the effectiveness of e learning compared to a convention training regimen, this study may be surprising. The culture we live in today seems to lend itself to an e learning style of training however many have questioned this new way of learning and training employees. NoodleStream has developed a series of targeted training modules for Benchmark based-on loss data provided by Benchmark actuaries. The study compared a sample of 108 insured companies who had deployed the training against a control group and concluded that the training reduced loss ratios by an average of 12%.
